Celnet Xplorer  - RAN Data Capture design for 3G Networks

Designed the Celnet Explorer, a software tool to monitor the 3G wireless data network performance. It captured the data from RNC and delivers it to Celnet tool for further processing. Redesigned the data collection module to improve the performance. Designed the user interface to control the flow and features of the tool at startup and during the run time. The new data capture design was added to R29 release of Lucent’s RNC tools and services. The data processing was improved using the parallel processing techniques.

As the usage of wireless packet data services increased, wireless carriers were faced with the challenge of offering multimedia applications within current data networks. Designed a network prototype for a CDMA2000 standard compliant, end-to-end QoS network in the IMS framework to enforce the Quality of Service.
The work was presented at GlobalComm 2006 as ''Lucent’s Bearer Path Resource Manager" product and received very strong reviews and recommendations by the analysts.

The Aurora Management Workbench (AMW) provided a software framework for building manageable (i.e., scalable, reliable, and configurable) distributed software applications. Research and development to propose, design and prototype new ways of building reliable, re-usable software building blocks.
Many patents were filed for AMW work. The work was used by several software platforms to improve reliability and scalability. These platforms run CDMA, UMTS and other related applications.
